Born in a mountainous area of North America on Earth called Colorado. Had an early interest in engineering, and went to a school for gifted/talented focusing on engineering. Later applied for, and was accepted to the Starfleet Academy. Briefly attended the Cochrane institute, believing that starship construction would be a good field, but later had a change of heart and returned to the Academy. Graduated fifth in class, and was assigned to McKinley station for first tour of duty as Transporter Engineer (third class), with a rank of Petty Officer.
Second tour of duty, received promotion to Ensign, and transferred to Utopia Planetia to assist in the construction of warp engines for several star ships. Later promoted to Lt. (JG) and put in charge of engine construction department.
During the first Borg Incursion, transferred to the USS Belerophon to serve as Senior Warp Engineer. Personally responsible for saving many lives by putting himself at risk manually ejecting the warp core, and then pulling several crewmates onto an escape pod. Recieved the Medal of Valor and a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in crash landing.
His injuries prevented him for serving another tour on a starship for a while, and in the interim, he returned to Utopia Planitia and assisted in designing the Bio-Nerual network for the USS Intrepid, the first ship of its kind in Starfleet.
As his injuries were finally healing fully, the second borg incursion happened at Earth. He was placed on the USS Valiant as (brevet) Chief Engineer, with a field commission of Lt.(Senior Grade). This was done because the Valiant was docked in Utopia Planitia for a refit, and had no assigned Chief Engineer at the time. Took over command of the starship from the Auxiliary Bridge after the other senior officers perished in combat, and the main bridge was rendered uninhabitable. While in command, he served with distinction by directing attacks against the borg cube with a ship badly damaged. All surviving crew of the Valiant recieved commendations from the President.
After the hostilities, his field commission was made a permanent rank. He also returned to Utopia Planitia.
Served for several years as adjutant to Admiral Habib Ashrawi (Commander, Star Fleet Engineering Corps). Primarily responsible for setting up rapid repair stations in various areas to service damaged vessels during the Dominion War. For this task, he was placed in command of the USS Robert Fulton, a non-combat engineering vessel, with minimal defenses and no offensive weaponry. This vessel came under enemy fire six times, and received heavy damage four times.
Attended Starfleet Command School in San Francisco, and graduated fourth in class.
Currently, he is seeking a starship to serve on, hopefully, in a Chief Engineering, or Second Officer position. He feels he is qualified to receive a commission of Liutenant Commander.
