2372-2374 | First tour of duty aboard USS Paramount (Nebula Class) as security officer. Mostly border patrol type missions, although the ship engaged in conflict with Cardassians on two occasions. Was slightly injured while providing security for away mission that was investigating a distress call. It turned out to be a Cardassian trap, and an attempt to take over the Paramount. The Paramount was severely damaged in the incident, and had to be taken in tow to SB375 for major structural repairs. Promoted to PO3. |
2374-2375 | Temporarily reassigned to security for SB375 while waiting for repairs on Paramount. Promoted to PO2. |
2375 | While still undergoing repairs, an accident in injector assembly in Paramount's main engine causes explosion, all but destroying the Paramount and causing moderate damage to SB375 and other docked ships. Paramount is declared a total loss and scrapped. Eisenhower's duty station on SB375 made permanent. Also participated in evacuating civilians and personnel during the rogue planetoid G-356 incident. He had the opportunity to see the crew of the Firestorm in action. |
