Novina's father, then a Commander in Starfleet, was unable to visit on the birth date of his children, which lead to Michael Rasura's eventual resignation from Starfleet, in order to watch his children grow up. Starfleet compromised with Commander Rasura, and he took up a position at Starfleet Academy as a professor of sciences. |
| 2353: | Novina and Nambrino begin their education at a special facility at Starfleet Academy, which specialized in training and preparing future Starfleet Academy cadets. At roughly the same time, the twins began to show signs of mild telepathic ability, despite the weak telepathic abilities of their mother. |
| 2366: | Novina completes her education through the Starfleet Prepatory program at Starfleet Academy. Despite this, Novina elects not to enroll in Starfleet Academy right away, instead pursuiting a brief career as a civilian scientist for a few years. |
